Senator Alesi To Sponsor The Largest Health Care Exposition In New York State

Senator Jim Alesi (R,C - Perinton) will continue his efforts to bring health services to local residents by sponsoring his 16th annual Family Health and Fitness Fair. Expanding every year, the 2005 exposition will feature 200 national and local health-related exhibitors offering free screenings and services, as well as valuable information. This year, the free event is scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2005, at the Dome Center in Henrietta. The Family Health and Fitness Fair is open to the public between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Over the past decade, Senator Alesi has regularly sponsored free community health fairs to serve residents of the Greater Rochester area. In taking the initiative to organize and sponsor the Health and Fitness Fair, Senator Alesi will provide nearly 4,000 people with a wider, more extensive range of services than ever before.

This year’s event will provide such valuable services as: free tests and screenings for cholesterol, bone density, skin cancer, vision and hearing, and much more.
