Bonacic Announces Aid To Delaware County

John J. Bonacic

State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/I/C - Mount Hope) announced today that the Town of Masonville and the Village of Deposit will receive $800,000 in funding for much-needed water treatment and community revitalization projects.

"I am pleased to announce this State aid," stated Senator Bonacic. "State support for revitalization and water treatment projects to our localities is vital to the health and well-being of all of our residents."

Senator Bonacic said that the Small Cities grant in the amount of $400,000 to the Town of Masonville will be used to rehabilitate 19 structures. The Village of Deposit will receive $400,000 to upgrade its sewer treatment facility, as well as reduce debt service for residents.

"The added expenses of these projects, while much-needed, would be too much for our residents to bear without State assistance," concluded Senator Bonacic.
