Senator Robach Attends Ribbon Cutting To Support New Company Employing Developmentally Disabled Adults
In recognition of National Disabilities Employment Awareness month in October, Senator Robach participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a new company that employs developmentally disabled adults.
Lifetime Assistance, Inc. officially opened its newest venture, CSS (Classified Shredding Services) on Wednesday, October 26, 2005. Classified Shredding Services will provide secure, confidential shredding services to small and large companies throughout Western New York. It is located at 425 Paul Road, Rochester, NY within the LAICO Industries & Services production facility. In response to a growing need in the community for document destruction, CSS provides both a valuable service and an excellent training opportunity for those with disabilities.
Classified Shredding Services is a member of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). NAID is the international, non-profit trade association of the information destruction industry and holds the industry's highest security certification.
"Lifetime Assistance continues to be a front runner, for the rights of developmentally disabled adults, to equal employment opportunities in our community. We must recognize the talents and abilities of all individuals and the contributions they give" said Senator Robach.
