Further, Senator Golden is inviting the community to two Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies, each that will feature hot chocolate, cookies and musical entertainment. The events will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at Lady Moody Square, Avenue U and Van Sicklen Street, and on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bay Ridge Triangle at 94th Street and 4th Avenue.
Senator Golden stated, "As the holiday season, the greatest time of the year, is upon us, let’s come together as a community to celebrate our freedoms, our traditions, and most importantly, let’s send a message of thanks to the men and women who are spending this holiday season far from home, fighting to defend our rights and our liberties. These events all plan to be a most enjoyable time for all and I look forward to each with joy and with holiday spirit."
