Golden Secures State Funds To Support Local Volunteer Ambulance Services

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District) today is announcing that he has secured funding from the New York State Senate for four local volunteer ambulance organizations to assist them in the purchasing of equipment and supplies.

Senator Golden has allocated funding to the Bay Ridge Ambulance Volunteer Organization (BRAVO), the Bensonhurst Volunteer Ambulance, the Flatlands Volunteer Ambulance Service and the Gerritsen Beach Volunteer Ambulance and Fire Department.

Senator Golden stated, "The contributions of the individuals who commit themselves to the efforts of each and every one of these volunteer ambulance organizations has made an important difference in our quality of life. These volunteer ambulance services have and continue to provide excellent and compassionate care to the residents of our community in our times of most need."

Senator Golden continued, "I proudly support the good work of our local heroes who are regularly sighted driving through our streets responding to the emergency calls. I am confident these well-deserved funds will be utilized so that each of these ambulance organizations will be able to purchase new equipment and additional supplies. Enhancing their ability to serve within our neighborhood benefits us all."

Senator Marty Golden has also secured State Senate funds for the Brooklyn Chapter of the American Red Cross to support their services and abilities to purchase new equipment.
