Senator Golden Invites Community To Attend A Town Hall Meeting On Public Safety
Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, 22nd District) will be hosting a town hall meeting on public safety on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at the 68th Precinct located at 333-65th Street in Brooklyn. The guest speaker at the meeting will be 68th Precinct Deputy Inspector William Aubry.
Senator Golden is encouraging the community to attend the meeting designed as an opportunity to meet with Deputy Inspector William Aubry and 68th Precinct officials to discuss concerns related to the safety and quality of life of our community.
Senator Golden will be discussing legislation he is working on in the New York State Senate aimed at increasing penalties for leaving the scene of an accident. An informative briefing and the ability to join CORP 68 (Civilian Observer Radio Patrol) will also be available.
State Senator Marty Golden is a former New York City Police Officer.
