Senator Golden To Offer Free Tax Preparation Service

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C, 22nd District) today is announcing that his district office at 7403-5th Avenue will again be hosting and providing free basic tax preparation service this upcoming tax season. This will be the seventh year that Senator Golden has provided such service to the community.

The schedule of appointments is every Thursday and Saturday beginning February 16, 2006 and ending on Saturday, April 15, 2006. Thursday evening appointments are from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and every Saturday with appointments scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. An appointment is necessary and must be scheduled by calling Senator Golden’s office at (718) 238-6044.

The program is available to only residents of Senator Golden’s district who earn less than $30,000. No out of state returns can be filed through this program.
