Senator Marty Golden Secures Traffic Light To Enhance Safety Of Community
Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, 22nd District) today is announcing that the New York City Department of Transportation has approved his request to install a traffic light at a busy intersection within our community.
The Department of Transportation has approved the installation of a traffic signal at 88th Street and 3rd Avenue. Installation of this traffic signal should be completed by February 28, 2006.
"For the vehicular and pedestrian safety at this intersection, I am pleased to have worked with the Department of Transportation to have this safety measure installed," said Senator Marty Golden, "Each time a dangerous and busy intersection is approved for a traffic light, the welfare of the entire community is enhanced. Today, we have the opportunity to see a safer Third Avenue for all to shop and to dine."
