Mike Nozzolio Night Benefits Food Pantry
Auburn- New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio (R-Fayette) is asking the community to rally behind the winning Auburn Doubledays baseball team and, at the same time, to contribute to a local community need.
Senator Nozzolio asks all those who attend “Mike Nozzolio Night” at Falcon Park on Sunday, September 4, to bring an item to donate to the Food Providers Network of Cayuga County.
“It is a pleasure for me to sponsor and host a fun, family-oriented evening of baseball, and to support the Cayuga County community. There is no better way to help our local food pantries replenish much needed supplies than with an all-American baseball game. I look forward to joining everyone in cheering our hometown team to victory,” Senator Nozzolio said.
“Senator Mike Nozzolio Night” will feature the Auburn Doubledays at Falcon Park on Sunday, September 4, 2005. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:05 p.m. when the Doubledays take on the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. Falcon Park is located at 130 North Division Street in Auburn.
According to Suzanne Norton, Chairman of the Food Providers Network, donations may include non-perishable canned goods, paper products, soap, shampoo, baby food, or diapers, and will replenish supplies among 6 food pantries in the Auburn area. “We appreciate Senator Nozzolio’s support. With his help, we’re going to be able to help those in need,” she added.
Free tickets to the game are available by contacting Senator Nozzolio’s Seneca Falls office at 1-888-568-9816, his Auburn office at 315-255-3045 or at various business locations throughout Auburn.
