Nozzolio Appointed To Finance Committee

Albany—State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio (R-Fayette) has been appointed to serve on the powerful Senate Finance Committee, which is responsible for all aspects of the state budget.

“It is an honor to be given the important responsibility of serving on the Senate Finance Committee, which directly oversees the negotiation of the state budget. In this key leadership position, I will play a major role in reviewing the Governor's budget proposal and developing the Senate Majority Conference's priorities for the state budget,” said Senator Nozzolio.

Last week, Senator Nozzolio was reappointed to serve as Chairman of the Senate Crime Victims, Crime and Correction Committee and was again named to the Public Protection Budget Conference Committee

Senator Nozzolio has been Chairman of the Crime Victims, Crime and Correction Committee since 1995.
