This year, the four recipients of the scholarships will be either current or future college students who are residents of New York State. In order for recipients to be considered for the Fall 2005 academic year, all applications must be received by 5:00pm on April 15, 2005. Eligibility will be based upon a student’s grade point average, dedication to an organized sport(s), their interest in pursuing a higher education, their involvement in the local community as well as their individual financial need.
Students residing in the 54th Senate district who are interested in applying for the scholarship can request an application by contacting Senator Nozzolio’s office toll-free at 1-888-568-9816.
