Senator Nozzolio Delivers $50,000 For Camp Good Days And Special Times

Albany – New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio (R-Fayette) today announced that he has secured $50,000 in State funding for Camp Good Days and Special Times. The funding will be used to construct additional facilities and give the camp the opportunity to create more programs and offer services year around.

“Camp Good Days and Special Times continue their unparalleled commitment to both children and adults facing challenges in life,” said Senator Nozzolio. “It was a pleasure for me to secure this $50,000 State grant to support the camps programs and help improve on their facilities.”

Gary Mervis, Camp Good Days and Special Times Chairman and Founder said, “Senator Nozzolio has been a great friend to children of Camp Good Days and Special Times throughout the years. This funding will help with improvements to the camps facilities and I would like to thank Senator Nozzolio for his continued support.”

Camp Good Days and Special Times, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides a camping experience and more for children and adults facing the toughest challenges of life. Children touched by cancer, and other life challenges, gather at Camp Good Days’ Recreational Facility located on the shores of Keuka Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region each year to enjoy a week of fun and activities. Weekend camping programs for both men and women are also available.
