"The Lancaster Opera House is a tremendous cultural asset for our community, our region, our school children, and the thousands of patrons who enjoy artistic expression," said Senator Dale M. Volker. "The Lancaster Opera House’s Arts in Action program provides for performance tickets for seniors and young people, the establishment of performance workshops in urban and rural settings, and allows for people of all educational and socioeconomic backgrounds to experience the performing arts. It is my belief that artistic expression must always be supported and fostered, and I am pleased to be of assistance to this fine cultural organization."

Thomas T. Kazmierczak, Executive Director of the Lancaster Opera House said, "The Lancaster Opera House continues to make significant strides to expand our outreach efforts so that more people will be exposed to music and the arts. Senator Volker has been a strong supporter of the Lancaster Opera House over the years, and this announcement continues his commitment to improving the lives of our children and adults by exposing them to the benefits and joys associated with the arts."
