Volker Statement On The Passing Of State Senator Patricia Mcgee

"I am extremely saddened by the passing of my Senate colleague, and dedicated public servant, Patricia McGee. I had known Patricia McGee for over twenty years and she was a remarkable person who worked tirelessly on behalf of her constituents and the communities that she loved so much in representing in the Southern Tier. She was a dear friend, a colleague, a loving mother, and a remarkable advocate in improving the lives and families in New York State. I, and my fellow Senate colleagues, will miss her advice, her compassion, and her knowledge of the issues confronting our state. It was an honor to have had her as my friend and colleague, and I would like to send out my heartfelt condolences to her husband, children and relatives on her passing."
