Forest Lake Third Graders Learn About Government And Community From Senator Fuschillo And Assemblyman Mcdonough

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) and Assemblyman David G. McDonough (19th Assembly District) recently visited the third grade students at Forest Lake Elementary School in Wantagh to teach them about government and their community.

Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough explained to the children what their roles are as state legislators and how new laws are made. Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to share their ideas for new laws and ask questions.

"Speaking to children and hearing their ideas is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job," said Senator Fuschillo. "I hope that the students enjoyed this visit as much as I did."
