Senator Fuschillo And Assemblyman Mcdonough Conduct Lirr Survey At Freeport Train Station

Charles J. Fuschillo Jr.

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) and Assemblyman David G. McDonough (19th Assembly District) recently visited the Freeport Train Station to speak with commuters about their opinion of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR).

The two state legislators conducted a survey that asks commuters to rate various aspects of the LIRR’s service, including fares, on-time performance of trains, cleanliness of trains and stations, parking conditions at the station, and courtesy of LIRR staff.

"The LIRR is a vital part of Long Island’s transportation infrastructure. Thousands of local residents ride the trains to and from work every day, and it is important for the LIRR to know how people feel about the service they receive and how it can be improved," said Senator Fuschillo, a member of the Senate’s Transportation Committee.
