Senator Fuschillo Offers Seniors Important Information About Prescription Drug Savings
To help senior citizens navigate the confusing maze of prescription drug plans, Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) announced today that his office is offering information about New York State’s EPIC program and the federal government’s new Medicare prescription drug benefit.
"Seniors need to have as much information as possible so that they can decide what prescription plan is right for them," said Senator Fuschillo, a member of the Senate’s Health Committee. "My office has information available for seniors that will help answer questions about New York State’s EPIC program, the federal government’s Medicare prescription drug benefit, and how these plans could help them save money on their prescription drug costs."
Senator Fuschillo is offering a brochure, entitled "Medicare, EPIC, & You", that provides important information about the federal government’s new Medicare prescription drug benefit and how it will affect New York State’s EPIC prescription drug plan. It also explains what the new federal Medicare prescription drug benefit is and answers frequently asked questions that seniors may have about enrolling in these programs.
