Senator Fuschillo Visits Newly Refurbished Children's Room At Copiague Library

Charles J. Fuschillo Jr.

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District), a member of the Senate’s Education Committee, recently visited the Copiague Library to view the newly refurbished children’s room. Senator Fuschillo obtained $5,000 in state grant funding to help the Library pay for the improvements.

To make an environment that children would enjoy, the library purchased new furniture and used primary colors to create a bright and colorful reading and play area. The children’s room is already being widely utilized by the community.

"By having a place that is colorful and child oriented, it will help encourage children to visit the library and develop an enjoyment for reading, which will benefit them throughout their lives. The Copiague Library did a fantastic job putting this room together, and I am very happy that I could assist them in completing this worthwhile project," said Senator Fuschillo.
