Seward In Cobleskill For Local Events

State Senator James L. Seward will be in Cobleskill for events on Saturday, September 30.

At 11:00 a.m., Seward will attend the Founder's Ceremony at Bassett Hospital of Schoharie on the hospital's grounds, 178 Grandview Drive, Cobleskill, as part of the hospital's 50th anniversary reunion.

At 5:00 p.m., Seward will attend he SUNY Cobleskill Alumni Awards ceremony at Prentice Dining Hall on the grounds of SUNY Cobleskill, where he will honored as an honorary alumnus in recognition of his support of SUNY Cobleskill. Seward has helped fund its equestrian center, meat processing facility, expansion of its degree program in child care, and this year secured new funding for rehabilitation of several buildings on the campus's "old quad." Seward has also fought for additional financial aid for students.
