10:00 Am Senator Bonacic Visits Emergency Control Center; Asks Governor For Emergency Declaration

On Wednesday, June 28, Senator Bonacic visited damaged parts of our Senate District including local emergency operations centers. He spoke by phone with emergency officials and law enforcement officials from Delaware, Ulster, Orange, and Sullivan Counties.

Also during the morning, Bonacic spoke with officials from SEMO - the State Emergency Management Office and the office of Governor George Pataki. He asked that the Governor declare a State of Emergency for all four counties of our Senate District - Delaware, Ulster, Orange, and Sullivan.
