Senator Flanagan Welcomes John Mccormick To Emergency Preparedness Seminar

John McCormick, who resides in a home operated by United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Suffolk, recently attended Senator John Flanagan’s Emergency Preparedness Seminar at the Eugene Cannataro Senior Citizen Center in Smithtown to learn more about what to do in the event that Long Island is hit by a hurricane or other disaster.

Mr. McCormick picked up relevant literature and brochures, which he will share with his roommates and house staff. He works in UCP Suffolk’s Employment Training Area, where he puts barcodes on book jackets, as well as packaging and fulfillment work for a variety of businesses.
