Senator Serrano Visits The Bronx Expeditionary Learning High School

Senator Serrano had the opportunity to meet with an 11th grade government class at the Bronx Expeditionary Learning High School. He spoke to students about his experiences in city and state government, and the challenges faced by urban communities in New York. "Young people need to remain engaged in the political process. They need to fight for issues like school funding and affordable housing, and continue to make their voices heard," said the Senator. "Trust me, we are listening and working hard on quality of life issues in the South Bronx."
