City Agencies To Meet With Senator Golden And Community At Town Hall
Brooklyn- Senator Marty Golden is encouraging all residents of Bay Ridge to attend an upcomingTown Hall meeting to be held on Thursday,October 26, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. in the Card Room at Shore Hill, an affiliate of Lutheran Medical Center, located at 9000 Shore Road.
Senator Golden and members of his staff, will be joined by representatives from the 68th Precinct, the New York City Fire Department, the Department of Sanitation, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Department of Environmental Protection. All agency officialswill be available to answer the questions of concerned community members in an open forum. Issues of discussion include public safety, fire safety, the cleanliness of our streets, tree planting and pruning, and the Owl's Head Pollution Plant.
“In the past, my town hall events have been a very effective step in solving problems in our community,” stated Senator Golden. “These events bridge the gap between community leaders, community members and all city and state agencies. The main goal is to learn how to utilize the city and state agencies to make our community a better place to live, work and raise a family.
