Golden: Gov't Workers Earn Top Grade

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden last week honored government workers from throughout his Brooklyn district for doing an outstanding job and for going above their call of duty to serve the community at an awards ceremony held at the Bay Ridge Manor.

The honorees included:

Tom Fitzgerald, New York City Department of Sanitation
James Quinn, New York City Department of Sanitation
Lynn McEvoy, New York City Department of Parks and Recreation
Wolf Sender, District Manager, Community Board 12
David Au, United States Postal Service
Anthony Foti, Social Security Administration
Ricardo Bowen, Department of Homeland Security

Senator Golden stated, "You are the people that make this community run and you are the ones that go that extra mile. You have all made a tremendous difference in this community I am proud to honor and salute your efforts. Please continue to make a difference in our community."
