Golden To Host Bay Ridge Public Safety Town Hall To Address Community Concerns About Nusiance Crimes

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, 22nd District) will be hosting a Bay Ridge Public Safety town hall meeting on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Our Lady of Angels located at 347-74th Street in Brooklyn.

The guest speaker at the meeting will be 68th Precinct Commander Deputy Inspector William Aubry who will be joined by representatives of the Precinct’s Command.

Senator Golden will be discussing legislation he is working on in the New York State Senate aimed at increasing penalties for abuse against the elderly as well to protect the sale of cell phone records. Further discussions will center around community concerns regarding registered sex offenders, nuisance crimes such as graffiti and vandalism, and other matters.

State Senator Marty Golden is a former New York City Police Officer. The meeting is open to public and residents are urged to attend and address their community safety concerns.
