It's Theater Time In Brooklyn

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden will join the Brooklyn 1 Theater Company on Friday, August 4, 2006, at Ray's Lounge at 9604 Third Ave at 7:00 p.m. to announce the winning entries of the first "A Playwright Grows In Brooklyn", a one-act festival which will be presented in September. Senator Golden will introduce the members of Brooklyn1Theater, who will perform a selection of "one-acts".

Also on hand will be local singer-songwriter Andrew Gerardi who penned the festivals theme song "Brooklyn Bound".
