Senator Golden To Celebrate National Library Week At A Brooklyn School Friday

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) will be celebrating National Library Week in the Library of Public School 48, located at 6015-18th Avenue in Brooklyn, this coming Friday, April 7, 2006, at 9:30 a.m.

Students will be reading to Senator Marty Golden a book entitled, "My Name is Stilton, Geronimo Stilton." Scholastic Inc. has donated books for each member of the 3rd Grade Class.

The New York State Senate passed a resolution commemorating National Library Week. After the reading, Senator Golden will present P.S. 48 Librarian Anita Quaglione with a copy of the resolution.
