Senator Golden To Host Halloween Treat For Community

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden, with the Bay Ridge Bensonhurst Parks Task Force, will host a special Halloween celebration, "The 2006 Haunted Halloween Walk and Fair", on Tuesday, October 31st, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Owl’s Head Park located at 68th Street and Colonial Road.

This 12th annual event will feature: The Haunted Walk, the Renaissance Fair, the Trick-or-Treat Trail, a pumpkin patch, costume contests, coloring contests, pony rides, hay rides, face painting, inflatable rides, magic acts, music and much more.

"The Haunted Halloween Walk and Fair has become a safe and fun Halloween day event in our community that has made so many children smile," said Senator Marty Golden, "I always look forward to hosting this special day full of fun, ghosts, goblins, tricks and treats. Our children have come to look forward to such a special and unique event and I am proud to host it this year again."

The event is being held in conjunction with the Bay Ridge-Bensonhurst Parks Task Force and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. The event, free of charge, is made possible by generations donations and community support.
