Senator Golden Informs Seniors Of Housing Opportunity
Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn), the Chairman of the New York State Senate Aging Committee, is advising local seniors of a housing opportunity at the Pope John Paul II Senior Apartments.
Beginning May 29, 2006, the Progress of Peoples Management Corporation of the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens opened the waiting list for Pope John Paul II Senior Apartments, and are making available applications. Pope John Paul II Senior Apartments are located at 255 Ovington Avenue, and are accepting applications for seniors, 62 years or older, as well as mobility-impaired adults age 18 and older that permanently require the use of a wheelchair, with limited income based on Section 8 guidelines.
Senator Marty Golden stated, "The senior apartments at Pope John Paul II are of outstanding quality and I encourage all those who may be interested in applying to do. For many, these applications are a first step towards a better, healthier and safer lifestyle that will have the opportunity to live here, within a building that hosts activities and a meal program, along with many other services.

Completed applications must be sent by regular mail to the post office box indicated on the application form by June 10, 2006. Only one application per family should be mailed. If more than one application is received, the last application’s I.D. number will be used.
