Senator Golden To Present "dancing Under The Stars"
Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C, Brooklyn), the Chairman of the New York State Senate Aging Committee, today is announcing a summer series of events billed as "Dancing Under the Stars" and is inviting local senior citizens to participate in these fun-filled evenings.
This summer series will include four evenings of dance and entertainment beginning this Friday, June 23, at Shore Road Park, located at 79th Street and Shore Road, at 7:00 p.m. Events are planned throughout the summer and will take place on July 21, at 7:00 p.m., at Shore Road Gardens, 91st Street and Shore Road, on August 18, at 7:00 p.m., at McKinley Park located at 75th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway, and the last of the series will be held on Friday, September 15th, at Shore Road Park located at 79th Street and Shore Road at 7:00 p.m.
Senator Marty Golden stated, "The encouragement of activity and the promotion of the arts within the local community of senior citizens has been and remains a priority. As the Chairman of the Senate Aging Committee, I am proud to partner with the New York City Department of Parks to host these events. I look forward to seeing some line dancing and some swing dancing, and I look forward to seeing good times happening in our local parks under the stars."
