Senator Golden Town Hall Meeting To Focus On Establishment Of Neighborhood Watch
State Senator Marty Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District) today is announcing that he will be hosting a town hall meeting with Bay Ridge residents this Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the establishment of a Neighborhood Watch at the New Hope Fellowship Church located at 257 Bay Ridge Avenue.
Senator Golden is encouraging community participation to be the eyes and ears of the community, to work with the 68th Precinct, to ensure that the community remains safe and that the quality of life is maintained to highest standards. The Neighborhood Watch program will have a zero tolerance for drugs and crime in Bay Ridge, including graffiti, and is sure to make a difference on the local streets.
Senator Golden will be joined by 68th Precinct Deputy Inspector William Aubry and police officers of the Community Affairs Office, Larry Jayson of the Brooklyn Housing and Family Services as well as Pastor Roger McPhail of the New Hope Fellowship Church.
