Sephardic Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Presents Humanitarian Award To Brooklyn State Senator Martin J. Golden For His Work On Behalf Of The Elderly
Brooklyn State Senator Martin J. Golden attended a celebration at Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located at 2266 Cropsey Avenue, Brooklyn, for residents whose birthdays are in December. Addressing the gathering of staff, residents and family members, Mr. Golden commended Sephardic for the excellent and innovative care it provides residents and spoke about the growing senior population in Brooklyn and the necessity for expanding existing services. Michael New, Executive Director, and Norman G. Cohen, Senior Vice President, presented Senator Golden with a Community Humanitarian Award for his outstanding work on behalf of the elderly as Chairman of the New York State Committee on Aging.
