Albany- Continuing their commitment to the brave men and women currently serving in Iraq, New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio (R-Fayette) and Assemblyman Gary Finch will hold a holiday drive to collect non-perishable items to be sent to American troops stationed overseas.

Senator Nozzolio and Assemblyman Finch are asking the community to drop off non-perishable items to either Senator Nozzolio’s office located at 119 Fall Street in Seneca Falls or his Auburn Office at 69 South Street. The holiday drive officially kicks-off on Tuesday, December 19th and concludes on Monday, January 8th.

“There is no better time than the holiday season to think of others and help our troops serving our country in Iraq,” Senator Nozzolio said. “It is a pleasure for me to hold this very beneficial holiday drive and accept items that will be donated to our troops.”

Donations may include non-perishable items such as sweatshirts, disposable hand wipes and sanitizer, instant coffee, dry mix beverages such as Crystal Light and Tang, pipe cleaners, Q-tips, handi-wipes, writing paper, envelopes, pens, and hard candy.
