Senator Nozzolio Announces Webster-schroeder Graduate, Mitch Pawluk, Legislative Session Intern
Albany – Senator Michael F. Nozzolio recently announced that Mitch Pawluk, a 2003 graduate of Webster-Schroeder High school has joined his Albany staff as an intern for the 2006 legislative session. Mitch is currently a junior at SUNY Albany and is majoring in Political Science with a minor in English and History and currently carries a GPA of 3.65. He plans on attending law school after graduation and is the son of Webster residents Steve and Patti Pawluk.
Mitch first met Senator Nozzolio as a member of the Webster State Champion football team when the Senator hosted and honored the team at the State Capital and arranged for the team and coaches to meet Governor Pataki. Mitch was a member of the 1999, 2001 and 2002 State Champion Football teams. During his visits with Senator Nozzolio, Mitch became interested in State Government. The idea of working in the Capital was a major contributing factor in his decision to attend SUNY Albany.
“As a former student athlete in the Town of Webster, it is evident on how much influence Senator Nozzolio has had throughout the community,” said Mitch Pawluk. “From the state- of-the-art fieldhouse, to the Webster Youth Athletic Scholarship Program, Senator Nozzolio really cares about his district and it definitely shows. I look forward to working with the Senator and gaining a better understanding of state government and the New York State legislature.”
