Free Legal Guide Available On The Internet

Many constituents call my office when they are having trouble navigating the often difficult legal system. To help alleviate this problem the New York State Bar Association is proud to offer a practical and informative guide for individuals without formal legal training. Topics covered include matrimonial law, civil lawsuits, wills and estate planning, criminal law, and things you may need to know about the lawyer/client relationship.

The People’s Law School is available free online to anyone with Internet access by logging on to the "public resources" section of the New York State Bar Association Web site at www.nysba.org.It is also available for purchase on audio tape, compact disk, or DVD by calling the Bar Center directly at (518) 463-3200 (a $20 cost is required to cover the Association’s cost of production).
