Senator Saland Meets With Columbia County Youth To Discuss Issues Of Importance

Senator Steve Saland (R,C Poughkeepsie), far right, is joined recently by Elena Mosely, Director of Operations Unite Education and Cultural Arts Center and students from Hudson High School during their visit to the State Capitol in Albany. To Mrs. Mosley's left is Leah Laban-Gomez, Gregory Sanon and Elijah Barrow, all members of the Columbia County Youth Bureau. Operation Unite offersyoung people a wide range of arts and cultural activities, including art workshops, music lessons, videography for high school students, drum and drill corps, and dance lessons of all kinds including African. The Center is well known for Kuumba, their African dance and drum troupe, whose members come from several surrounding counties.
