Senator And Assembly Members To Hear Public Comment On Governor's Proposed Budget

On Thursday, March 2, 2006, and Friday, March 3, 2006,  State Senator Thomas P. Morahan will hold public hearings on Governor Pataki's proposed 2006 State Budget.

On March 2nd, at the Suffern Free Library, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the Senator will be joined by Assemblywoman Nancy Calhoun, Assemblyman Ryan Karben, Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt, and Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski. 

On March 3rd, at Warwick Town Hall, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the Senator will be joined by Assemblywoman Rabbitt.

A number of community groups, agencies and individuals from Rockland and Orange Counties are expected to give testimony.

The public is invited to the hearing. Anyone seeking to present oral testimony at the hearing (5 minutes or less) should call Senator Morahan’s office at (845) 425-1818.
