Senator Montgomery Pays Tribute To Legendary Jazz Musician Dave Brubeck

State Senator Velmanette Montgomery (D-Brooklyn) paid tribute to legendary jazz composer, pianist and bandleader Dave Brubeck. During a recent Senate Session, Mr. Brubeck was honored for his stellar career and noted achievements, and in celebration of his 85th Birthday. Writing more than 100 musical compositions, Dave Brubeck has established himself as an ambassador of jazz, contributing to the entertainment and cultural enrichment of American Society. Mr. Brubeck, who, as part of his yearlong 85th birthday celebration, will be performing at the 2006 Jazz Festival in Saratoga Springs, New York on Sunday, June 25.
