William T. Stachowski

(ALBANY, NY) State Senator Dale M. Volker (R-I-C, Depew) today released a case review of the murder of Sister Karen Klimczak by the hands of parolee Craig Lynch. Senator Volker compiled this information from local law enforcement sources, as well as from representatives from the New York State Division of Parole.

"I felt strongly that a case review on the murder of Sister Karen Klimczak was warranted based on several news reports of possible wrong doing by local and state officials," said Senator Dale M. Volker. "I spoke directly to the New York State Division of Parole and local law enforcement authorities, and the law was followed to the tee. It is crystal clear that Craig Lynch received drug treatment and transitional services in order to re-enter our society. However, he continued to make the wrong choices that culminated in the death of Sister Karen Klimczak. It is now up to our judicial system to proceed in seeking justice for our community."
