(ALBANY, NY) State Senator Dale M. Volker (R-I-C, Depew) and staff today thanked Henry Ndlovu for significant contributions to Senator Volker’s Albany Office. Mr. Ndlovu has worked in Senator Volker’s office since January 2006 and is a participant in the New York State Senate’s Intern Program.

"Henry Ndlovu has been an outstanding employee and I, as well as my staff in Albany, will miss his enthusiasm, dedication, commitment and professionalism that he has brought to his job," said Senator Dale M. Volker. "I am expecting impressive things from Mr. Ndlovu as he finishes his studies in Washington, D.C., and then back to his native country of Zimbabwe. Often times we overlook the importance of the State Senate’s Intern Program. Mr. Ndlovu, like his associates in this program, are extremely bright, intelligent and want to participate in our democratic form of government. We are all very proud on what he has done for the State Senate, and for the constituents of the 59th Senate District."

Mr. Ndlovu is a graduate of the University of Zimbabwe where he received both his Bachelor of Arts and Master’s Degree. After his completion of the Senate Internship Program, in collaboration with the State University of New York’s Center for International Development, he will proceed to Washington, D.C., were he will work on bill drafting and other governmental issues.

"Henry Ndlovu was one of the finest writers that I have had over the years. He had the rare ability to grasp quickly some very complex public policy issues and communicated them in a very understandable and thorough way," said Senator Dale M. Volker. "He has been an outstanding asset to my office, as well as the 59th Senate District, and I would like to thank him for all that he has done for the State of New York."
