Senator Dale M. Volker Secures $16,000 For Cornell Cooperative Extension

(Albany, NY) Senator Dale M. Volker (R-I-C, Depew) today announced that he has secured $16,000 for Cornell Cooperative Extension in Wyoming County. These state funds will be used for the purchase of a van.

"Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County provides outstanding services that make a tremendous difference in the lives of our residents," said Senator Dale M. Volker. "Programs such as animal science, family and consumer sciences, natural science and teen leadership and workforce preparation programs; continue to educate our citizens and improve the quality of life in our region. The purchase of a van will allow Cornell Cooperative extension the ability to expand their outreach capabilities, and assist in their mission in providing critical information for our farm families, our children and our region’s economy."

Shaver, Interim Executive Director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County stated, "On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Senator Volker for his continued commitment to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County and for securing $16,000 in state funds so that we can purchase a van. This will allow us to improve upon educational opportunities for our clients in Wyoming County, and efficiently meet the needs of educators and recipients of our services in Wyoming County."
