Mta Ordered To Present Solutions For Traffic Nightmare On The V-n Bridge

On November 5, 2007, Senator AndrewLanza, Congressman Vito Fossella, City Councilmen Vincent Ignizio (R-South Shore) and James Oddo (R-Mid-Island/Brooklyn), and Assemblyman Lou Tobacco filed a lawsuit against the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to stop the Verrazano Bridge construction project. Yesterday, a Staten Island judge told the Metropolitan Transit Auhtourity yesterday that it has three weeks to fork over information that could help end the traffic torment caused by construction on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.
