State Senator Andrew Lanza Says No To A Toll Hike On Staten Island Bridges
Staten Island – State Senator Andrew J. Lanza (24th District) announced today that he is opposed to the proposed toll hikes by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for the Outerbridge Crossing, Goethals Bridge and Bayonne Bridge. He also opposes the elimination of the discount for E-ZPass users.
Senator Lanza released the following statement:
"Raising the tolls on the three bridges to New Jersey is just one more insult to the injury that Staten Islanders endure. These bridges are outdated, in need of repair and replacement and Staten Islanders should be paying less, not more, to use them."
