Thompson Acknowledges Sponsors For Making School Supply Giveaway Successful
Niagara Falls, NY- Antoine M. Thompson, New York State Senator, 60th District (Parts of Erie & Niagara Counties), held a school supply giveaway from 2-4pm on Saturday, September 1st, at his Niagara Falls District Office located at 619 Pine Avenue.
His office was able to successfully serve approximately 200 students in the community with paper, pens, pencils, rulers, crayons, folders, notebooks etc. The students’ grades ranged from kindergarten to high school.
Senator Thompson would like to especially thank: Bank of America, Williamson Funeral Home, Niagara Falls Redevelopment, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Niagara Falls Housing Authority, Ms. Betty Babanoury of the Niagara Falls Central Library and Niagara Falls School District Superintendent, Carmen Granto.
Earlier that day from 10am- 12 noon, Thompson’s office was able to serve approximately 300 students from his Buffalo District Office, located at 65 Court St. in downtown Buffalo.
