Thompson Announces Annual School Supply Giveaway

Buffalo, NY- Today, Antoine M. Thompson, New York State Senator, 60th District (Parts of Erie & Niagara Counties), in conjunction with Keep WNY Beautiful, announced his annual School Supply Giveaway. The giveaways are scheduled for Saturday, September 1st at two (2) locations. The first will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm at his Buffalo District Office located at 65 Court St in downtown Buffalo, and the second will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm at 619 Pine Ave. in Niagara Falls.

School supplies will be available in limited amounts and will be on a first come, first served basis. “This is the fifth year that I have helped students and their families get prepared to go back to school… Being prepared with the proper learning tools is half of the formula for being successful in school, the other half involves motivating one’s self with the desire to learn,” stated Senator Thompson.
