Senator Fuschillo Introduces Legislation To Close Roosevelt School District’s Multi Million Dollar Budget Deficit

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) announced today that he introduced legislation to help relieve the Roosevelt School District’s multi-million dollar budget deficit.

The legislation (S6508) would provide the district with a grant of up to $8 million to help eliminate the district’s budget deficit.

The State Senate is expected to approve on the bill during session on Monday.
