Senator Fuschillo Welcomes Local All-state Musicians To State Capitol

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) recently welcomed local All-State musicians Andrea Lopez and John Hoblin to the State Capitol.

Andrea, a student at Farmingdale High School, and John, a student at Massapequa High School, performed with the All-State Jazz Ensemble in the Empire State Plaza as part of the New York State School Music Association’s (NYSSMA) annual "music in our schools" month.

Senator Fuschillo attended the performance and congratulated Andrea and John on their selection as All-State musicians.

"It was great to see students from our community showcasing their musical talents in front of an audience that included legislators, staff members, and hundreds of Capitol visitors from across the state," said Senator Fuschillo. "Andrea and John worked very hard to earn a place among this elite group of students, and they should be very proud of what they have accomplished."
