Weisenberg And Skelos Welcome Hewlett Elementary School Chorus To Albany

Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg and Senator Dean Skelos welcomed the Hewlett Elementary School Chorus to the State Capitol on March 13, 2007. The chorus was in Albany to perform in the Concourse of the Empire State Plaza in celebration of "Music In Our Schools Month." Senator Skelos and Assemblyman Weisenberg presented the Hewlett Elementary School Chorus with a joint Legislative Resolution honoring their accomplishment and welcoming them to Albany. This year is the 35th annual Music in Our Schools Month.

The students were accompanied to Albany by their Chorus Director Thomas Sugar, Principal Sandy Pensak, and District Director of Music for Hewlett-Woodmere School District Kevin Bayen.
