Senator Farley Reflects On The Meaning Of The Thanksgiving Holiday

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the 44th Senatorial District!

Thanksgiving not only commemorates the Pilgrims' celebration of the
fruitful crops of 1621, but it is also a day of giving thanks for
everything we are grateful for in our daily lives -- it's a time to stop,
smell the roses and think about what is truly precious to us.
I'm sure you are like me when I say I give thanks for my lovely family and
terrific friends. And we are all thankful for the roofs over our heads and
the bountiful meals we receive everyday.

Please take a few minutes this year at your Thanksgiving feast and remember
the soliders overseas who cannot be at their families' dinner table. Say a
few words of thanks to them for keeping us free and allowing us to maintain
our lifestyles.
