Senator Farley Seeks Participants For Home Safety Day On June 30th
State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C - Schenectady) is teaming up with the Hagaman Volunteer Fire Department to host a Home Safety Day on Saturday, June 30th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the fire department, located at 126 South Pawling Street, Hagaman.
This event is being held in conjunction with the fire department's annual car and bike show. A time line of events includes:
* 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., registration and parking of vehicles for the car and bike show
* 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., car and bike show, with prizes awarded at 3 p.m.
* 1 to 3 p.m., Showing of Disney Pixar's "Cars" movie
The day also includes a summer cookout, raffles and prizes, the Masonic Temple performing child identification printing, a showing of Disney Pixar's movie "Cars," and demonstrations and information on firefighter skills. The Hagaman Volunteer Fire Department will also show off its safety trailer.
"Last year, my office teamed up with the fire department," Senator Farley explained. "We had so much fun and informed numerous people about fire safety, that I decided to team up with them again."
There is a rain date of July 1st for this event.
